Movie based on the autobiographical novel by Amos Oz, one of most important modern writers, from Israel. Story of childhood and youth spent with parents in Jerusalem: pragmatic Ari and dreamy Fani with great imagination. Unhappy in marriage Amos’s mother was running away from disappointing reality finding relief in telling her beloved son stories on borderline of reality and dream that became more and more dark as time was passing.
