Window Horses

12.10.2017

“Window Horses” is a 2016 Canadian animated feature film written and directed by Ann Marie Fleming, based on her graphic novel published under the same title. It follows the life of Rosie Ming, a young Canadian poet of mixed origin who grew up with her strict Chinese grandparents, believing to have been abandoned by her parents. One day, she sets off to a poetry festival in Shiraz, Iran, which will change her life forever. “Window Horses” is a story about building understanding across cultures and generations. The female characters were voiced by famous actresses: Sandra Oh, Ellen Page, Shohreh Aghdashloo and Nancy Kwan.
